Jeremy Clarkson Back Filming Clarkson’s Farm Following Health Scare

Jeremy Clarkson has returned to Diddly Squat Farm to begin filming the sixth series of his Prime Video series, Clarkson’s Farm.

The 66 year-old was spotted last week filming scenes at the Cereals trade show, which was hosted on his Oxfordshire estate.

Surrounded by his regular camera crew, Clarkson appeared in high spirits as he delivered a speech, chatted with local agricultural workers, and focused heavily on the positive developments surrounding his farming venture.

His return to the tractor comes just days after the broadcaster stunned the public by revealing he had spent over a year secretly battling an aggressive form of prostate cancer.

The emotional revelation was kept strictly confidential until the finale of the fifth series aired, which documented the harrowing journey from his initial diagnosis to his recovery.

The heartbreaking moment unfolded on screen during a routine harvest planning meeting in the farm office.

Sitting alongside his close friend and farmhand Kaleb Cooper, and land agent Charlie Ireland, Clarkson dropped the bombshell by simply stating, "I've got cancer."

When a visibly shocked Cooper asked where the disease was located, Clarkson initially brushed off the question with his trademark bluntness, stating that the location was of no concern to anyone, before later disclosing that it was in his prostate.

The emotional scene showed a tearful Cooper offering immediate support, telling his boss to call if he needed anything, and reassuring him that the team would look after the farm while he was away.

The health scare began in May 2025, when a routine medical examination led to a biopsy that confirmed the presence of an aggressive tumour.

On August 4th, 2025 Clarkson underwent a specialised surgical procedure at a private hospital in London, during which surgeons successfully removed 10% of his prostate to eradicate the localised cancer.

The operation was a success, and Clarkson spent the subsequent months quietly recuperating out of the public eye.

Reflecting on the diagnosis, Clarkson used his platform to urge men to get tested, emphasising that the quick actions of his medical team saved his life.

He admitted that if he had not been proactive about his health, the timing of the disease could have been catastrophic.

He noted that if the problem had not been caught early, the previous season could have very well marked his final harvest.

Despite the physical and emotional toll of the past year, Clarkson remains committed to the future of Diddly Squat Farm and his television career.

Prime Video had already commissioned a sixth series of the popular show prior to the health revelation.

In his regular column for The Sunday Times, Clarkson reassured fans that he has no immediate plans to retire the series, stating that he will only stop making the show when he completely runs out of ideas.

He even teased the likelihood of a 7th series, noting that he already has two excellent concepts mapped out for the future.

With production on series six officially underway, fans can look forward to seeing the resilient presenter back in his element, balancing the unpredictable trials of British farming with his trademark wit and a renewed lease on life.

Personally, we can’t wait to see him back on our screens in the near future.
